    Whiteface Conditions

I agree with everything you said 100% but not a regular. I skied Wilmington also for the first time today around 1230 and it was good. Then did it again at 1:30 when summit went down. Still was good. First time I've skied Whiteface in about 2 years but it was definitely well worth it. I'll be...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

See my post on the Whiteface thread but man what a difference in conditions between Gore yesterday and Whiteface today. Like two different planets.

    Whiteface Conditions

What an epic day and difference from Gore yesterday. Like two different worlds. Early laps on Mountain Run and Wilderness were perfect packed powder. Then up to the summit and Skyward was off the hook with chalky manmade snow on upper and lower and Niagra. Nice bumps too. Lapped that a bunch...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Today was also my first day at Gore. Record latest for me. Stayed away and went to Belle or Stratton/Sugarbush as I do IKON and ORDA passes every year. Normally would have at least 4 or 5 Gore days in by this point. Not regretting my decision to do Belle early in the season or go to VT last two...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

I'm sorry but what? The bowl was ice sheets on moxham and 46er. Sure it handled crowds well but most trails were icy not long after opening or had obstacles to avoid. I love Gore but I'm not holding back any punches this year after the product I skiied today with WEEKS of cold temps. How many...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

I appreciate the snowmakers Gore has 100% and with marginal temps today I get giving them they day off. Still, it's abysmal how little they have made with the weather they had. Maybe a bit jaded by being to VT last couple weekends. But even Belle in mid December after a huge rain event had...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

First time at Gore today this season after avoiding it hearing all the snowmaking horror stories. They were not overblown. Conditions ranged from good on the lower mountain for the first hour to ice sheets on 46er and Echo. The random rocks, dirt patches, and obstacles were as advertised here on...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

I hope your right tomorrow about it not being mobbed. Elected for Gore due to the high winds and my other options at Tremblant and Sugarbush being a likely mob scene tomorrow. Also elected for WF Sunday so hope that pays off as well. Monday is TBD based on the storm and how WF skis Sunday.

    Whiteface Conditions

Gore Saturday but I'll be there Sunday and Monday. Looking forward to it.

    Whiteface Conditions

Thinking about doing Whiteface next weekend instead of Tremblant or Gore for MLK. Insanely crowded I suspect? I've never been up there on an MLK weekend before. Conditions sound decent and I see they started on Skyward...which would definitely draw me in vs other options as I'm guessing it'll be...

    Sugarbush Conditions

After a great day yesterday today was even better. Absolutely blew yesterday away. Visited my old friend Glen Ellen and was greeted to a uncrowded sunny windblown all you can ski buffet of powder bumps. As a unexpected bonus Northridge actually ran (yes it's true). Truly an incredible day and...

    Sugarbush Conditions

Had a great day today at LP. Castlerock hike x2 for Middle Earth was well worth it (pictured) with perfect powder bumps and stellar coverage. Other ROTDs were Paradise and Spillsville early, Twist, Domino, Morning Star. Very happy I made the trip and looking forward to Ellen tomorrow. I love...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Not as close to Gore but did double the drive this weekend for Sugarbush. Same reasons.

    Labrador Conditions

Imo song does with Otto's and especially Jupiter.

    Song Conditions

Agreed. Even here in Baldwinsville, NY it's been at least 20 sustained since Monday and one side of my driveway has a literal 4 foot drift. Other side is down to grass. Then there's my deck which is sheltered...if only it was skiable...

    Song Conditions

Skied song today to stay close to home due to wind holds at Gore plus the new snow since I had the day off. Wind whipped whatever snow they got somewhere. Some sides of trails were loaded, many not. Corduroy underneath was nice though. Jupiter was open as was Chopsticks. Both were decent. No...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

With the current ownership who has a monopoly on skiing in CNY (minus Greek) I wouldn't hold my breath. They have no incentive to do so. I hate giving him my money though I'll do it today to ski vs sit at home, but that's about the only time I'll do it.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

I have both ORDA and IKON so that's why those are on my list. Stratton was great last weekend but they didn't re get any snow this week. I bet it's a zoo this weekend. Sugarbush got over a foot but...how much is actually left on the mountain...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Definitely helped. Looks like I'll be giving Song or Lab a shot tomorrow. Less wind. Supposed to get some snow. Lot less driving. Now for the weekend. Whiteface? Sugarbush? Stratton? Until Gore gets more open on snowmaking or gets some natural think I'm going to stay away.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Anyone out there today? Have tomorrow off and was thinking of perhaps day tripping it. Thinking it might be real wind scoured though and might just stick to the CNY bumps since we got some snow.
