Well..thinking of retiring early and moving near Stowe. Have to keep a place in CT so my wife can still work and go to the office in Westchester when that time comes back. I have a condo in Stowe that eventually we will sell and get a house..tired of working in NYC..the commute is getting worse...
At fancy restaurants I love how all the food is named, ingredients etc...not that I really go to them all that much..but the trend is getting bigger. Guess you need to know where everything comes from..and if it has a name..well..then its better.
So..what they thought would be 5 to 8 inches turned into about 15. It pounded all day, the top was a whiteout. And it really wasn't as heavy as it could have been as I had no trouble except seeing. I think I hit everything open as well as a lot of closed..well..the closed signs really meant come...
Well I'll be there and will try to take pics..it will most likely be dumping so pics will not be great..I'll write a little report as well. It won't be front page worthy for sure..
I started to be able..to not fall off the thing but could never really get going fast..at least in Aruba the wind is always moving the same direction. How people do it in oceans in storms is beyond me. I skied with a guy who did it...the videos were nuts.

I've been stalking the 2 stroke sites..The RZ350 is the one to restore..lot of work. Mine was pretty much new and all suped up already..still had to rebuild the top end though. Prices keep going up. Maybe when I retire I'll build something. For now the convertible will have to do.
less moving parts but when you start suping them up they become a different animal. More frequent rebuilds. A Honda 4 stroke motor last forever..and RD350 2 stroke with pipes, carbs and porting..not so much. At the track the few 2 stroke guys are constantly rejetting the carbs as weather...
I grew up in Long Island..got into bikes at 18..1967 yamaha ys250 2 stroke street bike...then it all went to hell..started bringing them home all over the place. H2 750 2 stroke kawi..widow maker..rd 350 grand prix bike..death machine..
79 cb 750 ss..cool bike..and then the Yamaha RZ350..the one...
