Cool that the Garnet Hill trails go right through that one. Hard to justify paying $450k for it, though (although I’m sure some rich guy will do it). I’ll keep looking for like 10 acres with a good view for $40K.

Looks like a ski tuning room/man cave to me. I always thought that a good way to make some side money after I eventually move to the mountains would be a little studio apartment above the garage to rent out (either seasonally, or AirB&B).

I’m somewhere between 80-90% weekends/holidays. Boy, does it feel special to get out on a weekday with no crowds, though. You guys really live the good life.

3” of H2O this weekend, is it possible that the summits of Stowe, Jay Peak, & Mount Washington could see some snow? I think yes. Harv is correct in that this time of year, it’s all about picking a good day (warm, but not too warm, maybe a nice light freeze overnight to maintain snow quality...

Nice of him to at least acknowledge that there has been a snowmaking improvement. It was a real gamble when they blew 46er in February, not knowing how much longer the season would go. Kudos to Gore for doing that.

It’s not that bad. I ducked the rope & skied it a couple of times when I was late for lineup but really wanted one more Rumor run.

Green Mountain National is the much nicer course in that area.

What’s the deal for Friday? Is this one of those “get it today or tomorrow cause it’ll be gone” deals? (Not that the snow will all disappear immediately… but a melting warm up or a rain groom might destroy the nice pow turns that people will be getting tomorrow)
