How firm is the plan?

Yesterday was cloudy, cold, windy, raw, and dust on crust. But today, perfection. It must have snow an inch or 2 and temps are in the high 30s. The sun is blazing and the trails are slowly softening.

Standard Operating Procedures at Gore. That chair opens mid-Jan, sometimes part time or for racing only, then operates full time for 5-6 weeks and then goes back to part time beginning of March. Good stuff.

If you do go to Killington you could try Pico. It is a fun area and usually less crowded than Killington.

Maybe try Bolton Valley. It is about 45 minutes from SB.

Stratton is quite good today. It. Is sunny, cold and windy with the usual wind holds. The groomed trails are excellent. The ungroomed are petrified and mostly closed until they groom.
