I had a ticket booked leaving tonight for SLC but cancelled it earlier this week because conditions the next few days will be shite. I’ll book again at the end of the month, most likely, and hope to catch a storm or full on spring conditions.

Ha, I just commented on that in the Platty conditions thread. Hard to feel bad for the kid (I hope none of them were out of their teens) who hit a rocky patch and had a full yard sale, and face planted in the grass/dirt. This kid straight lined 60 or 70 yards right of Face before said biff.

Hear ya! The $25 could do it, if I can get out Saturday. It’s either that or free fun at Belle. If there was still viable trees at Platty the $25 fun would be a no brainer, why I asked.

Picked this up yesterday. It’s not expensive, it’s aged 15 years and, most importantly, it’s good! Aged in bourbon barrels, actually.

That approach, and I don’t fault Laz for taking it because it’s his business to run, is what made me a one and done on a Platty season pass, and that’s ok. Like Harvey said, don’t like it take your $$$ elsewhere. Honestly though, what mountain wants to operate late season just for pass...

What’s break-even on a Platty pass, 10 days? For some around here that’s an easy number to hit, for me it wasn’t.
