Not really. Not enough sun to make a difference, and a few things got worse (skied off). Wilmington was run o’ the day.

Conditions, objectively terrible. There’s a few trails where you can make some not entirely unpleasant turns, and we even have had a little fun in a few spots. Nothing off the groomers is worth doing. Skiing this am with DB and Face was fun. Time to get back at it!

Even the forecast for the Whiteface Mountain Observatory is for upper 30s and ncp. I’m less concerned with snowpack (net gain/loss) as this is a minor event. Surface conditions and off piste, however, after pushing 40 with ncp today followed by freezing temps…that’s not gonna be good.

I think that boarder was taken off the hill by patrol. Several people this morning were walking down. Me, I missed first chair. Had to settle for third. Of course this “line” was gone before I made it to the bottom.
