Driving home from Lake Placid this past Sunday I called my friend who had ORDA pass last several years. Has an epic this year. He was over in VT...asked him how it was...he said good, but too crowded. He asked me how whiteface was. I said, great, skied on to the LWF chair most of the time...

I skied Sunday afternoon as well after a morning tour - got there around 12:30 and skied until 3:30...excellent conditions all the way to the end. Snow showers all weekend made for great conditions in my opinion. 10th Mt Glades/Upper Mac/"middle parkway" all great

Been in there once years ago - can’t remember seeing them open in years. Maybe I missed it...seems like they don’t get talked about much

What's that mean? Easier to build something like this vs if it were elsewhere in the area? Just curious for my own knowledge of how it all works with respect to the what I thought was extremely strict building rules within the park

Saturday was great up until around noon when I left. Was there for first lifts...excellent morning and agree on the 5-6...salvaged the whole holiday week as things were pretty thin prior to that. I bet Sunday was real nice too (wasn't there). Here's a nice pic I took from New Year's morning...
