    Going Under the Knife

Yes of course. I assumed you at least got a back brace to stabilize her vertebrae but it must be extremely painful. I’m sure it’s daunting to project how the next year is going to be for you guys but you’ll get through it.

Thats good news. You have to be patient with this one-. No way to splint or brace a rib.

Huge Slide on Colden closes Avalanche Pass

That is something alright. There was a big slide there just a couple years ago. Anybody remember how long it took to get reopened that time?

Former NHL enforcer Nick Taransky Letterkenny fights a drunk on golf course

I read on another site that the guy in Whistler is known to the local cops and his behavior is attributed to a previous brain injury. So we can expect that they’ll go easy on him.

    4th of July

This is pretty cool btw. I use to love this kind of stuff. I never got my kids to the Stony Point reenactments but we got to Fort Ticonderoga and we happened to be at Crown Point during a reenactment. A TON of people showed up to participate in that one

The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

I think I remember reading someplace that that first chairlift design was based on a cable system used for loading bananas onto ships which one of the engineers had seen in South America.

    Wildlife

Awesome. You want to collaborate on my coffee table book idea? It’s called “A Practical Guide to Wildlife Identification” and will consist of rear quarter shots of all of North America’s wildlife. I came up with this idea when I was in AK and every time I saw something cool, it was running away...

    Every Blooming Thing

That’s pretty interesting. I’ve seen Jason’s patch while hiking that ridge and thought it was curious but it didn’t occur to me haw special it was. That area isn’t all that high in the grand scheme of things but a lot of the vegetation has a sort of alpine look to it- smaller stunted trees and such.

    Publishing/printing a book

Wow. That’s a cool idea. I bet that could sell really well if presented to the right audience. It’s much better than my idea for a coffee table book. I don’t have any tips but I’m really interested to hear what advice people have to offer. Good luck with the whole project
