Every year i contemplate ...ski program, just a seasons pass or give it up and find something else. At some point, it will be out of reach (sooner rather than later).

Maybe something related to the new chair lift from Bears Den that ends at Legacy Lodge ....the top parking lot on the Wilmington side is full of new chair lift parts. Gonna be a busy summer for them.

It's not the steepness of the ride, the difficulty of the ride or the length of the ride .....its just about "the ride".

Whiteface can only pull out so much water from the Ausable per APA / NY Constitution or some legal thing - is something like that in place for Gore ? Do they pull from the Hudson ? I also think ...that Whiteface can't pull any water / run snow making after Feb break week - that limits spring...

I would follow up with an email - I had to - several times ....or get a number to call ....i had to be a bit of a squeaky wheel with the second incident.

I had two different kids in two different years break a bone and couldn't continue in their ski program. I explained the situation to Whiteface and had a doctors note (no ...Epstein's mom didn't write it :LOL:). The gave me credit towards the next season. I would imagine if they scan your card...

Beautiful conditions yesterday - no lines at all - get right on the lifts. At one point when the pond skimming contest was going on, the trails were literally empty. A good deal of ice on The Follies, the bottom of Bears Den was getting a bit beat up and Lower Boreen where it meets Brookside was...

Saturday - Whiteface - to check out the pond skimming. The last one was 2019 and the kids got a kick out of watching it. Whiteface Pond Skimming

I think i'm good where i am ....2 miles from Whiteface in a small mountain town, great local pub, deli and pizza - no traffic, quiet - 45 minutes to big box stores and shopping. I consider myself pretty lucky as it is.
