Whiteface has premier paid parking next to the main lodge. Has anyone paid the yearly fee to park there ? I know it is still first come first serve - so you could get shut out. Just wondering if that happens often or how many people utilize the lot.

Yeah me too - I only take the gondola if i have all the kids or there's no line and cold. I think when there is no line - there's no better way to get great laps in. An absolute epic Sunday! The conditions were out of this world. Everything was stellar! Minimal people, minimal lines. My 10 year old hit the slides on Sunday with his ski group - said it was awesome. A milestone for him, for sure. He links his turns :D

Incredible day at Whiteface today - beautiful conditions - minimal lines, all lifts open. It was 11:00 am and I was literally the only one on Excelsior - skied the whole trail with no one on it.

Are avalanche beacons like $300 ?
