Everything that was open, 2x each. Backwoods, Barkeater, Sagamore, Echo.
It had been a few weeks since I skied the North Side. I did Powder Pass 2x, and Tahawus, Sleeping Bear, and Pete Gay 1x each.
Not a powder day today, but still great skiing. I skied most of what was open. Snow got a bit sticky, but it didn't really bother me.

After roasting two other resorts for having inexcusable operational failures on a busy day, it's time to comment on the place I actually skied at.
Today was my best day this season. The whole mountain was open, including all glades. I skied a lot of terrain that I hadn't been on all season. Not...
I have been less than impressed with Sugarbush under Alterra. The Heaven's Gate and North Ridge lifts are both on their last legs. Both were scheduled for replacement in 2024, but then they pushed North Ridge back to 2025. This was completely foolish and if it breaks down for an extended period...
Sounds like everyone got gored. Did anyone ride Burnt Ridge before it broke down? Was it running on electric or diesel?Did either Burnt Ridge or Hudson ever reopen? Yesterday, Burnt Ridge was running normally to start the day, but it was having frequent stops were it would take 4 or 5 attempts...
I rode North twice last weekend, but did not ride High Peaks. Today, I decided I'd rather take more laps on High Peaks since the snow was really good up there.
I didn't boo them, so no need not to like the whole post. I thought it was hilarious how quickly the bust happened. I had just passed that intersection on the lift seconds earlier and didn't see any patrollers. He came out of nowhere. I'm not sure if anyone's pass was taken as I was too far...

High Peaks side of the summit was better. The Straightbrook side was more skied off. Same story with Uncas and Topridge. I even got in some glades, Dark Side Glades, Darby Woods, and...
ORDA treats the racers like they're above everyone else. At Killington, they don't get to load early or cut the line. There's a race on Lower Echo, so they're going in from Twister.
North and Burnt Ridge were open at 8:30. I went to Burnt Ridge. Sagamore was excellent. Went to ski bowl after a...
Today, they did get the AE2 open 10 minutes early, instead of 15 minutes late like the last time. Gondola is down, and we the entire lift line booed the racers when they let them on early, which was well deserved. Probably going to do Burnt Ridge and the ski bowl early and the summit later in...
Snow coverage seemed to hold up well on the upper mountain, but was fading fast down low. I missed High Peaks today, but skied all other parts of the mountain. Spring conditions everywhere. It was uncrowded with the Ski Bowl and Burnt Ridge especially deserted. BRQ running on diesel again. I...
Many ski resorts have progressive openings, meaning not all lifts or terrain open at the same time. That's not a problem, as long as the posted hours are adhered to. The problem is that Gore often missed the posted hours. Until there are upper lifts open, the out-of-base lift capacity is 0...
