Looking back on my posts, I can see I meant to type "High Peaks just opened" when I typed "Straightbrook". There was, in fact plenty of snow over there. If Darby Woods glade is any indication, they could have opened all of them without any worries of low tide.

Well, I finally made it. The snow is insane. I’m on North Quad now and I’m hearing they’re trying to get Straightbrook open. Topridge is open. Snow feels light to me, I’m floating at speed.

Thanks, I think there was more wind that Monday 3/11 and even though the gondola didnt run, you could still access the summit.

How's that wind look for Thursday? Seems feasible with minimal delays / closures based on the last few storms when I was up there but I don't have a good handle on Gore wind-wise.
