    Plattekill Conditions

Probably been posted already, but just read this about Windham's Whiteway Triple supposedly heading to Plattekill:

    Spring Weather 2022

Windham, Plattekill, and Gore cams all show snow falling on the upper mountain. Killington North Ridge cam shows it coming down pretty good right now.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Any chance Gore will reopen midweek if they get snow next week? I'm trying to see if I can extend the season and Gore is a possible day trip this Sunday. Another less likely option is Killington next Tuesday and Wednesday, or as mentioned Gore next Wednesday if a midweek reopening is possible.

    Plattekill Conditions

Windham will kill you if you don't buy ahead and pay attention to the RED / Green day capacity calendar. However, if you are able to purchase ahead of time, I saw tickets as low as $67 this past season. The Green Day 3-Play pass at $179 was also a great deal, working out to $59. 66 per day...

    Plattekill Conditions

Heavy flooding at the base last week. It's on Facebook.

    Season Passes

I went with Windham's Double Diamond pass for the early price of $1,299. No blackout dates and includes a range of discounts and the option to buy five discounted friends and family tickets. Early purchase discounts for daily tickets and the Red / Green capacity limit calendar will be in effect...

    Spring Weather 2022

Snowed all day at Windham. Turned to light rain around 1:30pm at the bottom. Still snowing heavy halfway up to the top when I left at 2pm. Great last two days for Windham’s season!

    Spring Weather 2022

Currently snowing at Plattekill, Belleayre, and Hunter. Can’t really tell from Windham’s camera, but looks like some of the bare spots on upper Wolverine are now white.

    Spring Weather 2022

To be fair, they all look kind of rough. Although I think all three mountains have terrible cams that make it hard to actually figure out the real conditions. I guess the next round of snow / rain will be a factor.

    Spring Weather 2022

Webcams look OK. I’m hoping the colder temps and possible snowfall helps. Belleayre looks like it might be the best bet in the Catskills, with some possible snow tonight and during the day Sunday. My other option is homebase Windham, which had really good conditions last weekend and Monday, but...

Where are you skiing this week?

Most likely Windham, but possibly Belleayre or Hunter if conditions are significantly better.

    Spring Weather 2022

Windham is in really good shape right now, although East Peak is unfortunately closed for the season. Midweek should be nice. Three day total was probably around 4-5”. This is yesterday around 9:45 AM.

    Windham Conditions

Here’s a short video from last Wednesday. Conditions were great, lots of soft snow with firm and fast corduroy. This is up on Why Not on East Peak. It’s really too bad there’s been so much rain since then, with more in the forecast. Headed back up Thursday for the weekend. Hmmmmm video shows...

    Windham Conditions

Looks good. Did you traverse over to Wheelchair or Wedel? Hopefully the cold weather that comes in next week helps. They did a great job last season moving snow around and grooming to stay open until April.

    Windham Conditions

(reposted here in the more appropriate thread) Windham rode great on Wednesday. Firm and fast early, with borderline frozen sections that you could just set an edge into. Plenty of soft snow sections, as well. The snow softened up nicely but never became grippy aside from a few slush puddles in...

    Belleayre Conditions

Ha I posted in the context of the discussion about various nearby alternatives to Belleayre. Won’t happen again ☃️

    Windham Conditions

Harvey, there were serious bumps on the Wall, Wheelchair, and Wicked.

    Windham Conditions

Windham rode great on Wednesday. Firm and fast early, with borderline frozen sections that you could just set an edge into. Plenty of soft snow sections, as well. The snow softened up nicely but never became grippy aside from a few slush puddles in transition areas like the East Peak lift line...

    Uphill Battle

Yes, during "daylight" hours with either a regular season pass or an affordable uphill season pass. Day passes are limited to operational lift hours . The policy seems fairly low-key and as long as you stay out of the way of mountain ops, they seem happy to allow it.
