Le Massif? Mont Saint Anne? or Mont Sutton? Decided to get out of dodge (Gore) for Feb School Break and check out Quebec City and a mountain or two nearby and hit Mont Sutton on the way home. Anybody have any tips? Suggestions? (other than dress warm 😜) Thanks in advance.

If you haven’t picked up the latest copy of Adirondack Life I highly recommended it.

They actually had a singles lane on either side of the main lanes on the Straightbrook with no one managing them. As you can imagine, the lane closest to the lift was just jammed with no one coming out of it.

Definitely a tough job, but more important now with changes in winter weather/climate. ORDA has to find a way to attract and keep people that want to do it (more $, housing, work culture, etc) in an industry that is way more reliant on man-made snow now. Again, proactive not reactive.

They did push the piles from last week around to create better coverage, but there’s definitely thin spots to avoid. You always have fun, so go for it! 👍🏻

Just in case anyone is wondering, there are exactly ZERO snow guns running today.

Forget "100% open by Christmas, no excuses!" Sno, I'm not even optimistic that they'll be 100% open by 3/15. My wife and I had a long discussion about Gore. The mountain this year exudes the vibe that no-one really cares about it. It just feels neglected, no care or love put into it. More so...

But we have pretty new Gondi cabins! 🤦‍♂️ The North Chair was having issues too.

There was also one "below" the Saddle lodge between the entrances of Sleeping Bear / Tahawus & Twister blowing out onto the gravel pit. It still has a lot of work to do.

Cranked some serious gravel today. It's everywhere! Snow guns were actually going strong (😯) on upper Echo & Sagamore along with Hullabaloo and Cloud just about the North Chair Ramp.
