Fun day yesterday - groomers very soft right out of the gate. Spent most of the day with my daughter on the East side but hit Seneca and Dot later - both fun. Lower Yahoo was great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Decent crowd for a Wednesday.

Belle #27 today. Gloomy, snowy, icy, foggy, awesome. Light crowd. Lots of boiler plate around. We need these storms to pan out. My SL skis are getting quite a workout this season on the man-made glacier that is the Catskills.

Great day today - light crowds - even an hour of bluebird. As Country said, Belle Run was the run of the day. I pretty much lapped that all day because it was glorious.

I’ll be there tomorrow with sharp SL skis. I’m guessing everything will set up with the cold temps tonight.

Looks like more seasonable weather next week if we can get through this stretch intact.

One of the reasons #7 is a great option on busy days is because it‘s a pain in the ass to get to from the far East side Blue trails. Once they make it completely accessible that all goes away.

I’ve read somewhere they are looking at high speed - elimination of the mid station.

Belle #25 today.

Today (8:40 - 1:15) - amazing carving snow in the AM, really, pretty darn good all day. #6 never started - I don't know why. There was at least one huge whale on Belle Run (giant air into a moving chair huge), or maybe it was just down. #8 was down as well. Thankfully, there really wasn't anyone...

Probably my fault, I bought a wider pair of skis this season for fresh snow days.

Today - sometimes the lift lines are long at Belle but I don’t feel it on the slopes. Today was the opposite. Skied onto 7 for the most part all day (via the singles line). Went over to 8 and quickly bailed - constant stopping. Steeps are skiing off to a very firm base really quickly. We need snow.

Yes!! That little line on Belle was beautiful.
