Another good day today. Pretty much a cc of Friday. Crowds were light, possibly lighter than Friday. Didn’t hit the new trail or lift.

I’m heading up. Overlook is my usual as well but today I’ll be in Discovery.

Great first day. Lapped 8 all day, mostly Seneca. They started blowing snow on the East side around 11AM top to bottom. Nice string of cold nights ahead. They’ll be in good shape by next weekend.

Belle will open this Thursday for one day only for season pass holders. They’re shooting for day after Thanksgiving for full time opening.

Plan on dipping my toes into Masters GS racing this year. I picked up a pair of Dynastar 182/25m GS skis. Should be interesting.

I watched a Black Bear undo a rope that hung a bird feeder over a pulley in about 30 seconds.

Why on earth would anyone do that with the gondola right next door?

My guess is snow making, proximity to NYC and reasonably priced season passes are the main ingredients.
