Looks like today is the last day for Lift 7 as they are doing a rope evac. Lift 6 also closed, not enough snow to get to it. Looks like it will be Lift 8 and the box for tomorrow. The latest on the new lift 7 is it will be a fixed grip with a mid station and loading fairly far down below...

Guessing for the weekend they will base operations out of the lower lodge and it will be uploading and downloading on the gondola for runs on lifts 8 and 7.

You will be fine, have a great time! Another vote for if you can do eastern blues you’ll be fine on western blues. They may be steeper but in general conditions are better, if there’s ice it’s rare.
