No. It just shows what the Gore system was designed to do, and proves that the problem was mismanagement, including the failure to hire enough workers. Northeast resorts need to be able to start from zero two or three times a year. That's just the reality of the new normal weather. mm

It’s great the Gore turned it around in the last ~2 weeks or so, but that’s the kind of snow making performance that we should expect from the beginning of the season. That’s what ORDA did at Belleayre and Whiteface this year and they should have done it at Gore too. mm

That’s too bad. I was there Wednesday and Thursday and it seemed like they were finally getting it together. They made huge piles on Foxlair that groomed out nicely yesterday and Hawkeye might have been the best groomed trail I ever skied. mm
