That's no excuse. They need to build out the system to cover the mountain they have, not the mountain as it was before all the expansions. If water or anything else is a limit that cannot be overcome, they should stop expanding. mm

How hard do they push against that limit, and can they increase the limit? And why did they build Hoyts and Wilmington if they are water limited? Did they not expect the kind winters we have now? When was the last time Whiteface was 100% by Xmas week? mm

I ski mostly at Gore, but Belleayre was better the days I skied them back to back. Belle was also the only one of the 3 that opened 100% of theirsnowmaking terrain. I hope they send Transue to Gore next. mm

Training on Sagamore is less disruptive than Echo. It's too bad they can't race there as well. mm

What you are saying is that ORDA expanded Gore, plans to continue expanding, added XC trails that require snowmaking and traded the best terrain park for a competition venue, all without having enough water to support it all. This should all go in the "ORDA's biggest mistakes" thread. mm

It doesn't matter what Belleayre has. Gore needs to have enough snowmaking to open on a reasonable schedule, and enough patrollers and other staff to open the whole mountain even on Mondays and Tuesdays, which Belle is able to do. Instead of spending money on projects with marginal value, like...
