Good point. It just adds more cluster to the Gondi that already can get pretty backed up on a busy day.

Anybody know where this learning area off the gondola is going to be? Doesn't sound like a great idea but I don't know anything about it

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

Finally took the Tesla on a road trip, though not far enough to need to Supercharge. The trip to Baltimore was ~190 miles representing ~60% of my battery. I charged it to 92% before I left and arrived with about 25%. Not too bad considering the car was stuffed the gills and it was almost...

    Windham Mountain Going Private?

This is more about branding then actually being a private club. I honestly don't hate it, each Catskill mountain kinda has it's own thing now. Depending on price I could even see myself booking a long weekend at Windham with young kids and no season pass anywhere else.

That is true, but unless you live in Kentucky, EVs quickly make up the difference in a few years

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

A straight up carbon tax would be a better approach. It would economically incentivize both industry and consumers to opt for cleaner choices, be much simpler to implement, and the revenue generated could be put back into clean energy investments. Unfortunately raising taxes is politically...

Our family heirloom, the '03 Camry LE V6, is now with my sister in Brooklyn. She will outlive us all.

Tax at the pump, on your electric bill, and on a plane ticket a cost proportionate to the amount of C02 the source fuels emit. Funny, the EV was by far the cheapest option of the mid size crossovers I looked at.

They also made ~$93B selling real things... We hashed this out before. EVs should loose their discounts when everyone starts paying for the CO2 they emit.

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

Sure but happens to Teslas at something like half the rate of ICE cars Now Ford? Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford ICE cars caught fire more then other manufacturers on average. Source - I owned a Ford. What a POS. Overheated constantly

That 8 cents is an average. Solar on your roof is most productive during peak demand when the grid fires up the less cost effective supply - Nat Gas turbines, Oil etc. This is why Demand Response is so important on the usage side. I told my wife to stop using the slow cooker during the...

I also wonder if you can select different size packs? I suppose it would have to be the same shell size but less cells in them. The advantage being for local driving which is 99% of the time you can opt for something like a 40 KWH pack which would save on weight and make your EV much more...

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

He's hired back some of the team, many have moved on to competitors which is terrible for Tesla, but good for EV adoption to have competition P.S.A to anyone reading this that owns shares of TSLA (I still have a few) - Vote against everything the board recommends, especially Musk's $50+ Billion...
