The Whole SKI3 Frequent Skier Card Thing

I got mine a few weeks ago a couple days after I bought the card

    Gore Mountain Conditions

If people aren't comfortable riding with others they don't have to ride the gondola. Once the high peaks lift gets open there is no terrain at ORDA areas that can't be accessed without the gondolas

    Detachable vs Fixed Grip Lifts

It might be 8 or not much more, I have heard the 8'ers in practice have not a whole lot more capacity than 6'ers due to the difficulty in loading 8 skiers in a line every time.

Poll: The Impact of the Epic Pass

Vail now owns 6/7 ski areas in southern PA and 8/19 public areas in the state. While I think this is the closest to a critical mass as in any state, I wouldn't quite say monopoly yet because there are still options in neighboring states, and smaller operations within the state, but they are as...

    F Vail

Poll: The Impact of the Epic Pass

One of my biggest gripes with Vail is that they have raised the cost of entry into the sport so much. It is hard to bring a friend or kid to your local Vail hill because of how expensive they have made day tickets, rentals, and lessons. They also effectively neutered the PA state 4th and 5th...

I'll let you know! I've been looking at getting skins for my tele skis so I can hit the steeper stuff more easily (not that it's generally super steep around here lol)

Hi I've been "lurking" this forum off an on for while - I am also on AZ and PASR. Mostly ski in PA but we get up north when we can, and usually that means NY (Gore and Plattekill are awesome). We XC ski when we can but those opportunities can be rare around here in Lancaster county - last...
