Yeah we love Stowe. We have been up for all of the weekends before the last. We took off Christmas weekend and just got up here yesterday and will be skiing to either Saturday or Sunday.

Since I couldn’t find a stowe thread, here goes. Everything groomed, but the groomers we skied this morning were the best I have skied in the east in years. There is not a ton of terrain open, but the trails still held up pretty well after early morning—provided you stuck to the sides...

Anybody see this? I have a pretty solid fall (one of many for the day) around 10:48. In my defense, I also had some pretty soild stretches that were not caught on camera. Awesome day!

I would say next weekend it will still ski really well, provided there isn’t major rain/warming. After that I imagine it will still be open, but might be pretty thin and require some walking.

Skiing was awesome today, and what a variable day of weather. snowy morning up top, mist at the bottom, thick fog across superstar head wall, and then sunny around 1:30. great bumps all around, my favorite was ovation. Here is some amateur video of my kids and me.

Pretty fun day today. By 10:30 most surfaces were spring like, and made for some good turns. Warm temps and awesome views. Unfortunately there were no bumps anywhere, which was not a big surprise given that there were none last weekend as well.

I skied there Saturday, and while the skiing was good they were/are in some serious danger of losing everything above the facelift. Hopefully some snow allows for another weekend or two. the skiing that was good was basically mushy snow. In contrast to gore, there were no moguls to be found...

If they had three runs (two steep, one low angle) dedicated to moguls, you could count me (and my family) in on a pass. And while we won't be using rentals, we sure as heck will be frequenting the bar...
