    Killington Conditions

Another killer day at K yesterday 2/10. Skied with my son David and Ira (kingslug). Love skiing with Ira and the kingslug effect was in full force all day. Snowed hard at times. Everything was in great shape! My son had a great time. So happy and grateful to see him out there tearing it up...

Never put anyone on ignore even over on AZ. Not sure I care if someone puts me on ignore. I like my space anyway so it would be like a compliment to me.

We saw no crowds anywhere near that size. Bear was ski on Thurs Fri.

Yesterday; have a few pics from Thurs as well. I was happy to ski Thurs Fri then drive home in the ice storm rather than brave the crowds today. Glad the crush of people didn't stop you from skiing a lot.

    Killington Conditions

2 best days of the season so far. Not even close. Drove up 2/3 in the rain, switched over to snow at 11 as we arrived at K and we storm skied all afternoon. Skied 9-3:30 on 2/4 in 16" of fresh. First tracks in Patsy's and The Throne. Easily 2' in the Throne my best run of the season. The rest of...

The Storm Skiing Journal comes down hard on ORDA

NYS resident all my life. Pay my NYS taxes every year. As long as NYS spends my money on skiing I really don't care about the balance sheet. Taxes are not an investment in my mind. And skiing is the only thing NYS spends money on that I can really get behind, whatever.

    Plattekill Conditions

Sunday was awesome. Sunny and cold everything skied well especially the naturals. Trees still a little bony tough to ski fast and relaxed another 6" would be great.

    Belleayre Conditions

Tongora was sweet there is the usual ice patch down near the first water bar I saw it get 2 patrollers who skied down before us we avoided that it was nasty.

    Belleayre Conditions

Wow today Belleayre's snowmaking upgrades are on full display. More whales and resurfacing everywhere. Trails in fine shape. Bumps on Yahoo, Tongora and Winnisook. Belleayre Run under the chair was pretty sweet. Trees open. Still bony and a little sketchy but very doable with limited obstacles...

    Plattekill, NY: 01/22/22

I was there Sat with my son and yesterday. The naturals are skiing great yesterday was actually better than Sat the cold dry night made the snow softer on Sun. Trees are still bony but 12" would open up a lot. Ridge Run always a favorite big fan of Twist as well.

    Plattekill Conditions

Plattekill was awesome today. I had to chase my son David around. Naturals skied great snow was really good. BB had large whales still and they were firm but very edgeable. I was disappointed that Pipeline had a rope across it. But all the other naturals were great. It was David's first time at...

NYC is the only "covid obsessed" area; just avoid cities and you'll be fine.

    The New Normal

My issue is specifically the lack of any plan for an exit from this nightmare. No proactive thinking (other than imprisoning the population) or action plan to open society up again. While there is a small minority on both ends of the political spectrum who have made their priorities clear, the...
