All BT chairlifts were Hall?

Skied out, drove through Long Lake (everything closed but Stewart's) and wound up here:

On the bunny hill:

This was about as sunny as it got, and it snowed most of the day, lightly:

The snow was excellent. Connoisseurs dust on crust, 6 inches of pow over a supportive, yet edgeable base.

And the light didn't get better, and also my phone died. I hadn't charged it in two days. I got passed on the skin track by a gentleman who used to patrol there. Not just passed, blown away. He was older than me too! I decided to go home before I had a coronary. 4 cars in the minuscule parking area. My informant says a number of locals ski there, but one vehicle had VT and another MA plates. The college kids definitely know about it. I hope that
it remains skiable. It is beginning to grow in, although some areas might still be mowed. Now I wish I had gone, 40 years ago, when one of the guys said "let's go night skiing, it is only 7 bucks". For those with the memories, it must have been a very special place. I would love to go back, even clear a little brush, maybe...

Wow, that’s looking so nice up there.

I have that same tent from the early nineties. I think it is maybe the Mountain 24 or VE 25? I forget. The foam spacers that snap in to make the gap with the fly are starting to disintegrate. You’re giving me flashbacks.

Nice!
We went nearly every Thursday morning exactly 50 years ago in the “spring" semester till the snow melted coming from the off campus apartments in Potsdam. Fun times. Some of em were pretty nippy.
Never skied there at night. With the stars out it’d been nice. It gets pretty dang dark at night there.

My memory also from college approx 50yrs ago.
On a FRIGID morning, spent an hour with the gear in the capped bed of a Datsun pickup, riding with college buddies to ski Tupper.
Froze my azz off -uncoiled myself, then stumbled to sit by the lodge fireplace to thaw before hitting the slopes.
Great day besides that LOL -and got to ride in the cab on return trip!

Dang.😲
The car we took to Big Tupper was a Ford Pinto a friend had who was from Canton.
One time the door handle broke off when we were going downtown at night in Potsdam. It got down to -40F but it was probably a bit warmer than that. Plastic gets very brittle when it’s cold.

Downtown streets were covered in sand much of the winter. I walked everywhere unless someone game me a ride.
