Catskill High Peaks Conditions

I skied up one of the hiking trails to the Hunter Mountain fire tower last Saturday (12/06). It was thin cover down low and ~10” of soft snow up high with no base underneath. More coverage would have been nice but I’m still glad I went. It was a beautiful day and it was my first time at the fire tower.
