Okemo Conditions

Hit Okemo on 2/9 after a day at Killington. Conditions were excellent and it snowed all day. All trails (including glades) were open. Not my favorite place but hey, they're open...will take whatever I can get in these strange times!

By the lack of activity here, guess not too many people go to Okemo lol ... but I did yesterday for their opening day. Was pretty good with 2 long runs (12 trails) from top to bottom. Coverage was quite good for those trails. I got there mid-day which was probably better as conditions had softened up by then but I'm still glad I had a good set of edges on my skis. Their magic carpet was open for beginners but I'd say you really need to be intermediate/advanced skier to enjoy the skiing. The moguls on Upper World Cup and Lower Chief were challenging and a good workout. All in all, a fun opening day.
