So many mountains have other criteria for first terrain, often about serving intermediates or beginners, or the most total skiers.

I get it but

I love it when the thinking is... it's colder and snowier at the top!

Well the skiing was really good today, but the crowd was unbelievable!! I, thankfully, have never had to deal with a lift line that long, and hopefully never again-45 minutes to load the Summit chair!! :eek: 🤬 :ROFLMAO:
 
Good day today. Got on the lift early to beat the crowd a little. Didn’t see as many Gore people as I expected.
The snow was good but the best part was that I didn’t notice the flat light all the other old farts were complaining about. Last year I was the top flat light crybaby. Cataract surgery FTW!

Got to the bar just at the right time. Agree first two runs were great...skiing was great for opening day. Then I was on that line with Cork and when I came back down...I downloaded. If I had more time I would have stayed. Arguably some of the best conditions for opening day and it was an early opening. I can't believe they didn't expect the bar to be busy. They only had two people working...Got a free beer out of it though. They felt bad for people that were waiting. Whiteface +1
