Gore Mountain Conditions

That's really cool. I wonder how accurate it is?
OpenSnow has been working on their proprietary algorithms for years. They start with all the available public data and go from there. The Snowmaking forecast graphs were used in Daily Snows starting a couple seasons ago. Mostly for the midwest and mid-Atlantic/SE. The forecast graphic is interactive. Can highlight any day/night and/or a specific line.

By providing the source graphs in addition to the OpenSnow graphs, Premium subscribers will be able to geek out as much as the like. The Free Preview will end soon. I'm not going to upgrade. The only resorts I check for snowmaking potential after December are Massanutten and Timberline. Don't need OpenSnow for that since I have plenty of experience extrapolating from standard weather forecast info.

Do ya know where on the bump are those conditions predicted? Base, tippy top or some place else?
Typically mid-mountain somewhere. For Gore, it says "2290 ft" and the point looks like it's about halfway up the Northwoods Gondola line.

These days it's possible to used OpenSnow for a forecast anywhere in the world. Just pick a point on a map. Works all year long, not just during the ski season. The "green season" app is called OpenSummit.

I see it. Hard to believe, I've got 30F at 1900.
