Greek Peak Conditions

My apologies, I think I confused you with someone else on a different platform. On a different note, how many days did you get at gp this year? Almost forgot, what are the other major NY ski areas that don’t run lifts? What trail at gp has 952ft of vertical drop?
Every single one

The tradition of whining about midweek lift closing is based on the very real fact that ski areas close lifts midweek.

Who's been to Wildcat? A place like that is all set, every day. One fast lift for everything. Maybe Pico is like that.

When you've got a mountain that's as diverse as Gore there are few redundant lifts.

I've been at Gore on weekdays when they had four lifts running, two high speed.

Half the mountain was closed, but still 200+ acres open. And there are maybe 200 skiers on the hill.

It's a business.*

They should be running all their chairs for a $120 lift ticket. So snowboarders should traverse some of the flattest parts of the hill to access the park?
If you don't like it then don't pay it. It's a business and the majority of ski areas out there barely survive so they have to do what they can to make ends meet.

Ok so you went to gore once and they didn’t run all their chairs lifts. What other major nys ski areas limit accessible terrain by not running a lift?

When you open up a mountain with lifts running all week, offering cheap tickets, let me know. I’ll come check it out.

For sure!
Man have they been screwing us over. I mean, all profits have been invested back into the hill and they've already announced more improvements for this off season. Not to mention the 108 days of skiing/riding they provided this year. Total screw job! Geezum.
It’s cute you believe that all profits go back to the hill. Do you have any proof?
