Only other time was 2008 when that Final 4 was also in the dang Alamodome in San Antonio to boot.

Unfortunately, I believe with NIL the days of a Cinderella story team during March madness is over.

And that pretty much ruined a major attraction of the FF for me . I loved watching serious underdogs prevail

I agree!

Now, say Cornell wants to be good at basketball, all they have to do is buy the players and they will be.

No doubt that these kids deserve it because it pained me to see just the universities and the NCAA make all the $$$ off of these kids. But, as you say, the culture of college hoops is totally different now.
