The winds were howling today in central VT, made 20 feel like 0. Coldest March day I can remember. Hoping for a calmer day tomorrow.

Drove around the south end of Skaneateles Lake yesterday. Went up 41A and saw a big white iceberg floating in the middle of the widest part of the lake.
There’s still some ice today on Erie and The Big O.

Gonna prune the apple tree.

Welp we had about 8 weeks of what was closer to a more classic winter in ROC. But now it looks like its over. Was nice while it lasted.

Here in NNJ we actually had a typical winter temperature wise but not much snow. The last few years our winter temps were more like Washington/Baltimore metro region. The running joke in my neighborhood was that there was no longer a weather reason to move to Virginia or even NC when we retire if the warmer winter temperature pattern continued.

They all know that kind of move is not in the cards for the neighborhood crazy who still skis.

Years ago i woke up at 4AM to go turkey hunting. Opened the door to 4" of snow. Went right back to bed. LoL

Got clouded out in parts NY for last year’s April total solar eclipse but clearer skies predicted for CNY the total lunar eclipse tonight.

Should also be nice corn being served tomorrow to boot.

Went outside to. howl at the eclipsed moon and as soon as I opened the back door a herd of deer scooted from near the apple tree where the pruned braches were stacked for transport, Tasty.
