I was just about to post this pic from sweep…
Today was actually low key spectacular. I’m not sure if it snowed a tiny little bit last night or if the wind jus5 deposited the whole valley’s snow in Plattekill’s trees but it was just enough for a little refresh. And of course it started snowing for real at the end of the day. I just drove home but maybe I’ll head back up Saturday. Temps are finally gonna bust out of the teens supposedly. These are from the morning

Saturday was low key an awesome day- started super warm so the snow was soft and then it started coming down as the temps dropped so it never really locked up on us. USA Luge was there
And of course the chicken bbq was really good too. I almost forgot to take a pic

It would be sick to see a trail like north face get seeded wall to wall for spring skiing. NF seems ideal imho since it has the least amount of character of the double trails, has the pitch for good bump skiing and the straight and wide profile would make seeding in a groomer easier than a narrower twisting trail (at least I think that makes sense).
ski Sundowns dedication to spring mogul skiing is pretty bad ass.
No doubt. Once upon a time my brother and I went for their amateur mogul competition. Was a great day….until we got to the car and my brother realized he failed to zip the pocket he put his car keys in. That was a looong trek home.
