Big Tupper Thread

"Schapira said he and Parnes are researching trail options on Big Tupper, the downhill center that closed years ago. “I would like to put together a well-done backcountry skiing system,” Schapira said.
He said he has been gathering input from some of the “best backcountry skiers in the Adirondack Park” to figure out a system that combines lifts and backcountry skiing. "

This is the way.

Just the front nine. Back nine is a cow pasture.
Never played it but prefer LP courses when in that area . Used to like playing some pretty offbeat courses in The Dacks when at LG region .They can be rough and definitely different.

Two of the weird ones come to mind
Bend of The River in Hadley,NY and the old Thousand Acres dude ranch course in Stoney Creek . Definitely not lush fairways and with wildlife on occasion 😀
