Plattekill Conditions

Beautiful day today, the natural trails off the double were fantastic. Even though I asked about it above, I only skied North once at around 11:30,. It needed a few more grooms.

I don’t get enough time off to be skipping days Willy nilly. This may be my only pic today but I will say the snow is really nice, soft, creamy, trenchable goodness

Question for those who know Plattekill better than I do -- I've looked at the current conditions report and the forecast. Seems like for MLK weekend they should have Plunge/Slalom added to what's open now but unlikely to be anything else additional, correct?

Will be staying with our kids and another family in Roxbury area that weekend, skiing Sun/Mon. Have the option to do both days at Belleayre or one at Plattekill, but Belle Sunday tickets are selling fast so it's time to decide. Personally I would probably choose to split our days but want to give everyone in the group a fair sense of what will be open at Plattekill.

That sounds like a reasonable estimate of where they’ll be, barring an unexpected storm opening everything up
