Natural snow is falling, and the high-elevation zones are deep enough for exploring! This will be the official thread for all earned turns in the 2024/2025 season. So, throw on your skins, lock in those heel lifters, and start climbing—the season is here!

To kick things off, here’s my mission from an undisclosed location deep in the Catskills. Over 2 feet of snow before Thanksgiving is a gift, but the heavy snow made climbing easier than the descent. Still, I’m stoked to have gotten out and experienced this early-season treasure!

So one quick one at the top and a hockey stop before the finish counts as turns?
Or
do ya just do 2 quickies at the top?

Maybe they’ll give folks style points and/or penalties.
