No way I was gonna miss opening day. I wasnt on the schedule so technically I didn’t have to be there before opening but I got an early start anyway. I played around with the filters a little for some of my pics…
Everybody seemed to happy to be back. Lots to do of course, getting all the sled packs and lift evac bags where they needed to be.
Not quite first chair but almost
Still some good base on Block in spite of the warm weather
It was nice and cold on Saturday so the guns were going on Shredded and Powder Puff pretty much all day
Upstate is always so overcast and depressing. The sun never shines there
More fun with filters
There wasn’t a lot open so the first task of the day was putting up some ropes and bamboo
Ski school showed up too
And the snowmakers
Turned out to be a beautiful day. It didn’t really warm up but the sun and lack of wind made it feel nice
Honestly, it felt like we never left
And before you knew it, it was 4 PM
Of course with one way down, we didn’t need the whole patrol to do sweep but….
