It's Time to Ski New York

Harv, when you do Holiday Valley and Holimont just remember Holimont is open to the public only weekdays that aren't holidays.

If you like Apres Ski night scene and live music then plan to be in Ellicottville on a Friday or Saturday night. Absolutely one of the best ski towns.

Sounds like a great adventure and looking forward to following your updates.

Good luck!

I definitely want to ski all of these places during the week.

We're kind of over the whole apres thing. But I want my wife to see Ellicottville. She doesn't really ski anymore but if the town is cute and she can snowshoe, she'll dig it. For that reason I may make one trip just to ski HV and Holi.

The town is definitely charming and she'll like it. Even if not into the night scene there's plenty of places to grab a drink and dinner. Small gift shops a couple good ski shops. Great village to walk around. It's a real ski town.

The lodges at the mountain are large and have comfortable areas to hang out. Staying at the mountain is nice also with access to the outdoor pool and hot tub. Ski pass deals are available with your stay.

One visit we also snowshoed a loop next Holimont. It was a beautiful snowy day. This loop was 2.7mi and about 550ft of ascent.

You know where to stay
Hit me up when you're ready and I'll get it set up. There isn't any water or bathroom facilities there in the winter....fyi
This place, just down the road, is nice as well as reasonable with bathroom, etc.

Camp I checked this out, its awesome. If you know the address could you DM me?

I think I'm going to use the first post to keep track of lodging options too.

Done

If one of the cabins isn't available, here's another place that's in the same area. This place was just recently remodeled.

Noticed Royal on the list. Second closest to me. Skied there frequently after my knee reconstruction. They also do snowmobile drags in winter and then motocross in the summer including stacyc for the little ones.
