Building a House with Wood

What’s wrong with a little knee wall with built in drawers or shelves for books and what not?

spray foam foundation wall and mice will not enter the home, you need an outlet at end of couch for a lamp.

We ended up going 100% foam.
My home is 100% foam - walls, ceiling and basement where the foundation meets the wood - it is extremely efficient, tight, you cannot hear much from outside. We have an air exchanger to keep fresh air moving

I'm told this is now code. We had to get an HRV, so I figured might as well go 100% foam. It's not that much more, and it might actually be less.

Sig's words were also echoing in my head.

Will re-consider the knee wall if it's not too late.

After you pass your inspections shut off the HRV such a waste of energy IMO
Mice have a difficult time getting into newer homes. I’ve learned that the only time I have a problem in my shed is if I leave the door open while I’m working outside.
