Still can't believe I was skiing 197s back then. I'm only 5'6"!
I can't contribute much to this thread, but the longest skis I ever skied off a chair lift were 210s. I'm 5'9 in heels.

I still remember when I tried a “shaped” ski for the first time at a Bridger Bowl demo day circa 2000/2001. That ski (Rossignol Bandit X) blew my mind. I always think about that day when I see someone in the lift line with Bandits. So thank you Sbob for still skiing old-school Bandits and keeping their memory alive!I’m on my 3rd pair of 2007 B2 Bandits. They are still popping up on eBay. My last pair may have been used twice. I like to dip into side country a lot and it’s not as painful when I hit rock as I only have a $150.00 invested.

Had the 90s, one of my favorite. I sold them to a buddy he skied and loved them for years.My favourite skis ever were Line Prophet 100s, wish I hadn't sold them.
