Ski Bowl 3.0 at Gore

Just stopped by the ski bowl. It doesn't look that much different than this pic from late June. Seeing 46er with no chairs or lift towers was cool. I know it's many months away but I wonder if there is a chance the ski bowl cannot open this year?

I guess if there is no lift we don’t have to worry about when they start making snow.

The lift will be finished on time. The lodge is not set to open until Fall 2025.

Well the sewer has even had a shovel in the ground yet, so my guess is the lodge may be later than Fall "25???

Kinda hard to open a new lodge without waste treatment. Tis important.

Gore says they’re selling the old gondola cabins but ya gotta buy all of ‘em at once.

They’re now up for bid.
50 gondola cabins with a “minimum bid” of $175K.
Maths = at least $3500 a piece.
