It was also open Sunday. This morning a majority of the lifts were slow to open. Lookout was planned to open but I'm not sure if it ever did.

I'll be at Whiteface for the first time tomorrow. It looks like there's a risk of wind holds in the afternoon. Which lifts are most prone to going on hold? Wondering how to plan out my day.

Goddamnit. I turn 30 on 3/16. Since they base it on age at time of purchase I was hoping to get another season in on the 20-29 pass. Those 2 days make a $190 difference. Oh well, this under 30 train wasn't going to last forever...

Yep, toe/heel. I think most snowboarders regardless of ability level favor one side slightly. Sometimes I can tell when it's time to call it a day because I start favoring my toe side turns and my heel side technique gets sloppy. Harvey's comment about favoring left over right made me think of...

Gondola tends to go on hold when wind is over 30mph, if I remember correctly. Sometimes they include a warning in the anticipated snow report posted the evening before. It's not in the anticipated snow report they have up now... take that for what you will I suppose.

I'm assuming there's no way for them to know, but there's also been no way for them to know if people are following quarantine and/or testing rules for travel. And people who'd lie about being vaccinated to get into the state are probably people who would/have been lying about quarantining... so...

Anyone been to Belleayre since Tuesday or know how well they've recovered from the ice/mixed precipitation? I see they got some snow yesterday/today, but am wondering if that just means a bit of snow on top of frozen hardpack this weekend.
