Ugh, I live about 10 mins from VC for 15 years and still haven’t gone. For a few years there wasn’t enough snow to justify, not the case this year. I have friends who’ve gone this year said it was a little blast! I hope their snow lasts through the warmup. Glad you enjoyed so much!

Definitely no free lessons this year! I would’ve loved not spending the $$$ I did on getting my daughter up to speed (also so I could go hit the summit at Gore while they kept her busy).

Reserving days was NOT part of season pass. Trying to buy tickets on ski3 card was apparently a royal pain in the a$$. Even buying day tix when season pass holder was not fun. The pass holder perks were the bomb. And those things were all usable ANY day you were in the mountain with your pass...

I had the blackout dates season pass. Bad choice didn’t realize how many there were and that my kids’ passes were not blacked out! Wound up buying a few days extra. However season passes come with sweet perks, like 1 free ticket anytime and free rentals. Got my son to Whiteface 2x and Belleayre...

Conditions were beautiful today! Everything softened up nicely able to ski skyward all day. Usually dead icy by afternoon. Didn’t hurt that my skis were freshly tuned and bit into everything.

Gondola running without people in it. Snow is getting little sloppy with rain, better up mid. Summit is closed. :-(

We didn’t wait around to find out. We were down there by around 3:10 or so. I can’t imagine they would stop people from getting to their cars!

North lot is great. Unless you need food/drink/indoor bathroom.

Hunter was pretty good yesterday. Sun kept the snow soft except on Way Out, which is now a permanent icy ruin. Even Hunter North is now getting sun mid-Feb and those fun little runs are staying pretty good and not over-skied. Plus Sayville Steve and I now park at Hunter North which is good for...

I got the season pass for all 3 with blackouts. Do not regret buying all three made the huge difference, wish I didn’t get blackouts! Never again. And Belleayre has been an absolute pleasure this year!

I was at Gore yesterday - had to buy a day pass because I stupidly got a blacked-out holiday pass. But I wanted to take my kid, who has no blackouts. Place was like a Tuesday, it was crazy. The Belle on Sunday was amazing. Got there just in time with my 11 year old daughter for it to start dumping. We stay on trail (she’s still learning and I suck in the trees), but watching the snow unleash for like 2 hours straight with her was amazing. And it was definitely a powder day...
