Official opening is this weekend Sat / Sun with Rocket only, then closed till next Friday

Who will be first to open in WNY? With no official opening date, I am predicting Bristol will open tomorrow, even if only for the second half of day. Holiday Valley will start their season on Friday, with 4 chair lifts running. Followed by Peek’n Peak opening on Saturday.

1500 foot base? We'll be skiing all year! But yes, there base was probably around 15ft and had me impressed. I am not up to date on different private ski areas outside of WNY, but know that HoliMont is the largest private ski resort in the US.

Nothing official but I would say not. Historically they suspend weekday operations, and have a bonus weekend(s).

$1 lift tickets at Swain in WNY on Weds (3/19). Hours will be 1-9pm. Fun offering that I believe they do annually towards the end of the season.
