From what I can see, Campgottagopee isn't saying that an eclipse wouldn't be interesting to witness. Rather that HE doesn't want to go through the PITA to see it. Kind of presumptuous for someone to tell him that he's wrong to think that.

Sorry, I meant NYSers who've seen a total eclipse anywhere and if they were as blown as away as some of the accounts posted earlier in this thread.

Has anyone on this forum other than @TonyC seen a full totality eclipse? Curious to hear a NYSer's point of view.
