Song Conditions

Not a damm thing happening at Lab right now, WTF are they waiting for ?
Maybe Lab ❄️ will fill up naturally.
Looked like the trails were mowed before the snow came and they're pretty much rockless grass.

Song’s opening the Bunny bump Sunday with 24-48” base.
As for the amount of new snow it just says “Lots".
Expect to open top to bottom bumps at both Song and Lab late next week.

First day of top to bottom ⛷️ 🏂 .
Friend said Lab was sweetness yesterday.
He & his daughter are at Song today.
They’re fun to ski with. I’m there in spirit.

Just got a text from my friend who skied Song with his daughter yesterday. He thought Ole Miss played 🏈 yesterday and had asked if Ole Miss won.. I texted back that they play next week.

I asked him:
"How was Song?"

His reply:
“powtacular!"

He’s a dang ⛷️ powhound with a good nose for it.

I love looking at the trees when riding the lifts. They look nice and are uniquely different.

Never really skied much in the woods at Song. I’d guess tis a tad early yet. If yer gonna do it best to go with someone who knows where the sharks (logs/branches) are located. The NE had a big blow last week. The rocks should be less worrisome. When I talk with my ski buddy I’ll ask him what he thinks. He hunts pow. At this point in time I prefer my pow packed with a few inches freshly topped.

Lab was more noted for the huge glade south on their bump.
When the Ptarmy lift was spinning laps in there were sweet after dumps.
Ya could get “lost" but if ya did ya just came out to the road at the bottom. Similar heedings about logs/branches-&rocks.

Supposed to get 6-10” in the bumps south of Cuse starting soon.

Pitter patter let’s get atter.
