The alloy wheels were only $50 more than the steelies he was selling and they had the alloy in stock.

I remember looking at Honda OEM alloy rims ten years ago and they were $500 each. This was $550 for a set of four, so I went with it.

They are pretty funky looking wheels. Kind of pimp-your-ridey. Not exactly my style but hey.

Shows them at $850, but he gave them to me for $550.

Also should add that I went with Michelin X on your recommendation.

Hope you like the Michelins. As I mentioned, I do a lot of highway driving in the winter and for that I definitely prefer them to the Blizzaks.
 
Anyone have the Conti Viking Contact 7 (or 8). CR gives them slightly better ratings. Been mulling over putting a winter setup on the Tesla, but I worry about reduced stopping on dry and wet pavement.

Just went with Michelin Cross Climate 2 on my wife's CR-V after reading reviews and a recommendation from a friend.
We had Continental Cross Contact before and they were good. They did get noisy as they wore but guessing that's normal.
