I have to engage cruise control all the time. It's hard keeping the right pressure to sustain a speed. It works. Never have to touch the peddles if a car is in front of you. Stops at lights and then moved forward again when the car moves.

Since I drive in more than one region fairly often, a key reason I opted for a PHEV instead of an EV was so that I didn't have to think differently about where/when to refuel when on a long drive away from home. Not an issue going between NC and FL, but would need more planning between NC and Lake Placid because I don't take I-95 and NY Thruway.
If I had lived in a rural-ish area of upstate NY when I bought my Alltrack 7 years ago I would have considered the manual. But living in Brooklyn and now dense NJ, it just seems like more of a pain then it's worth. The manual ones command a decent resale value though.
I read all those ratings. If you going to buy a pickup you want use for work it's true. Large charge. They will be able to go 225 miles pulling a trailer along all day. They are sharp, fast and 135k got the big battery.
I would dearly love a manual Alltrack. I think manual transmission is superior in snow.
Things will drastically need to change. EV "trucks" are unibody. Trucks are body on frame for strength in load capacity and towing. Not to mention plowing.
Mandates? I thought the new administration did away with most of them?
