Sweet Cars and Trucks

Let's take a longer trip in the wayback machine as long as I'm yakking about Citröens.... the 2CV! First built in 1948, as France and the rest of Europe recovered from World War 2. Nicknamed the "Deux Chevaux," or 2 horses, for its awe inspiring two, count 'em two, taxable horsepower!

One of the design criteria: this bad boy had to cross a freshly plowed field with a basket of eggs, and none of the eggs would break. 85 - 90 mpg. Produced from 1948 - 1990.

Thanks Camp!

In other news, the "new" Toyota small pickup is now slated for 2026, at the earliest. I don't understand the delay. I'm guessing the Toyota will outsell the Maverick and Santa Cruz combined by 2-to-1 in it's first year, if they can produced enough of them.

Unless the Maverick turns out to be very reliable, I'll likely trade it for the second model year.
