Season Passes

Secured my van Ho season pass, although the early deadline is much more lenient (August) than the alpine hills. Up next: the VIC and Dewey Mountain.
 
Gore ORDA moved the deadline way up last year which was not great but the 4 payment no interest plan is pretty sweet. IMO

The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA), which owns and operates Whiteface Mountain, announced on Monday, July 21, 2025 that the resort is joining The Mountain Collective Pass for Winter 25/26.

“We are excited to be included in the Mountain Collective Pass, which will bring new visitors to Whiteface Mountain through this global community of skiers and riders,” said Tait Wardlaw, the Olympic Authority’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “At the same time, the Mountain Collective partnership gives our SKI3 passholders an incredible opportunity to travel the continent and the world in pursuit of more unforgettable skiing and snowboarding experiences at any of their destinations around the world.”

As far as I can tell, the announcement on July 21 came from ORDA, not Mountain Collective. Per usual, the Mountain Collective website is not keeping up with additions/changes. Eventually, there will probably be an FAQ addition to address Whiteface questions.

In addition to the usual ski-oriented media outlets like Powder and Snowbrains, a few travel websites also picked up on the addition of Whiteface.

Another article I saw implied that only Whiteface is involved.

Yes, that is correct. Orda is trying to increase skier visits to WF, so that is the only area that will honor the MC. All SKI3 pass holders will receive the 50% off of MC areas

If you have a friend with an Epic pass, they will have "Epic Friend" passes for 2025-26 instead of the previous Buddy passes. Bottom line is that the discount for Epic Friend passes is simple, 50% across the board for every VR resort and no blackout dates. Plus someone who uses one can apply the cost of one Friend ticket to a 2026-27 Epic pass of some sort.
