Put my rain suit on and went for a walk.
Talked to a worker who was helping to clean up the ditches, said we got 4” in <3hrs.

Since the earth is 3/4 water ya should fish 3 times as much as ya mow the lawn.

Even the earth in NYS is full of H2O now.
Gonna take awhile to dry out so folks can get to plantings.

Folks were plowing their fields a month ago and the burn ban came early.

Maybe now folks can lift the burn ban early.

I spent several days "landscaping" our new place for 5 days in the rain. I'd work til I was soaked, come in, dry off my shit, eat something and head back out. I did like three 3-hour shifts every day.

It's actually kind of cool (trans)planting trees when it's raining.

Walked 4 holes yesterday as carts weren’t allowed out.
Used to walk all the time till the knee got tweaked.
Skiing last winter strengthened it.
It was just misting so didn’t kneed an umbrella & didn’t get wet.
Gonna walk 9 more today as no carts continue.
It’s actually sunny today.
Hooray.
